How to leave a gift in your Will

Leaving a gift in your Will is simple and easy and will make a lifetime of difference. If you don’t have a Will, you should seek legal advice on creating one. A gift can be made in the form of specific dollar amounts, a percentage of the estate, or all or a portion of what remains after you have provided for your family. To leave a gift to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation in your Will, we suggest the following wording for you and your legal advisor to consider:

To leave a residual gift in your estate to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation:

‘I give to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation ABN 82 142 046 124, otherwise known as the ‘PCSRF’, for its general purposes (or name specific purpose) all of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate whether real or personal and the receipt of the Chariman of that organisation will be sufficient discharge to my executor/trustee’.

To leave a percentage of your estate to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation:

‘I give to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation ABN 82 142 046 124, otherwise known as the ‘PCSRF’, for its general purposes (or name specific purpose) the stated percentage ___% or fraction of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate whether real or personal and the receipt of the Chairman of that organisation will be sufficient discharge to my executor/trustee’.

To leave a pecuniary gift in your estate to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation:

‘I give to the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation ABN 82 142 046 124, otherwise known as the ‘PCSRF’, the sum of $____ to be used for its general purposes (or name specific purpose) and the receipt of the Chairman of that organisation will be sufficient discharge to my executor/trustee’.

Your gift will assist to discover a cure for paralysis and help people across the world to regain movement and walk again. It is a meaningful legacy that you can leave in the lives of people who have been devastated by paralysis.
