We are thrilled to announce Expressions of Interest for the Spinal Injury Project (SIP) stage two Intensive Rehabilitation Trial are now open!
Through generous supporters, funding partners, philanthropists, and our incredible fundraising community, the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation has committed $420,804 to cover costs of this trial and we are now ready to begin!
This new study will examine whether intensive activity-based therapy can be safely and effectively delivered to people living with chronic spinal cord injury in Australia who have had minimal rehabilitation in the past two years.
Our ultimate goal is to develop a therapy that combines rehabilitation and cell transplantation to restore motor and sensory function in those suffering from paralysis and this stage two Intensive Rehabilitation Trial is the next step in finding a cure.
We are so excited to get started! You can find all the information you need here-
Please note the recruitment process will be run by an independent third party.
