Ben has had a career in scientific research, climate change,  innovation and technology. For 20 years he was based at the University of New South Wales and continues as adjunct senior lecturer. Since 2015, Ben has founded and lead two startup technologies (Thinkable and Metafact) in the areas of innovation and media misinformation – that continue today. 

Currently he is co-founder and climate scientist of Emmi, a startup that gives investors the tools to integrate carbon risk across global markets. He is based in Sydney with his wife and three children. Ben is a good friend of Perry’s from school.
