With a track record of 30 years in tertiary academic institutions, industry, and publicly funded research institutions in Australia and overseas, Jens is a proficient translator of innovations from engagement to closing the deal, ensuring that products and services enter the market and create substantial socio-economic impact.

Since September 2024, Jens is Director of Tampe Consulting Pty Ltd providing services to companies, tertiary education entities, research institutes, government, and non-for profit and philanthropic organisations. Before he was Head of Commercialisation and Investor Relations at Akunah Pty Ltd, a medical software company based in Brisbane, and worked for 13.5 years at Griffith University as Deputy Director of Griffith Enterprise.
