Community support is so important for a small charity like ours. It really does take a village to cure paralysis and we are so grateful for the support we receive from across the globe from our Cure Crusaders.
Jennifer Moo and her husband Brad are incredible Cure Crusaders who are donating $1 from every sale of Jennifer’s beautiful hand made earnings.
Brad sustained a T3 incomplete SCI in May, 2016 from a medical procedure that went wrong. The procedure was a nerve root injection that was meant to relieve some intense upper back pain he had been experiencing for several months. Brad spent 6 months at the PAH after 3 weeks at the Cairns Hospital.
He resumed work as an accountant in Cairns in 2017 whilst also establishing his own sporting equipment business, Hammerhead Sports. Brad is extremely dedicated to his recovery spending up to 3 hours a day working at the gym.
